Timeline Summary
A simple breakdown of your custom software build journey.
Week 1
Website & Brand Foundation
We design your website first. This establishes the visual identity for everything that follows. Once approved, we launch it and you can start using it immediately.
Days 7-60
Heavy Development
We build the core of your software. You won’t hear much from us unless we have questions. You’ll receive a live link to watch progress as we go.
Months 2-6
Feature Buildout
Features get added steadily. Bugs will appear—this is normal. We fix them as we go while continuing to build.
Months 6-9
Refinement
New features slow down. Focus shifts to polish and stability. You’ll onboard your team and help us find real-world bugs.
Months 9-12
Active Monitoring
The software is live and in use. We monitor for any remaining issues and handle bug fixes within 24 hours (business days).
Month 12
Decision Point
Continue with our Continuous Care Plan ($297/month) or receive full ownership via GitHub handoff.
Website & Brand Foundation
What we deliver:
4 website mockups representing different visual directions for your brand.
Your role:
Pick the one you love, or give us detailed feedback. If none hit the mark, we refine and deliver 4 more. We repeat this until you have a website you’re proud of.
Why we start here:
The website becomes the brand guide for your entire software. Colors, fonts, visual style—everything in your admin portal and user-facing screens will match. Getting this right first prevents costly redesign conversations later.
What’s included:
- Fully built, live website
- Hosting for Year 1 (included)
- Ability to drive traffic immediately
Optional: If you want to accelerate results, we offer paid advertising management as an additional service.

The Build Phase — Days 7-60
What’s happening:
We’re heads-down building. Admin portals, user interfaces, core functionality—all being constructed using your approved website as the design blueprint.
Why you won’t hear much from us:
We know your time is valuable. You’re running a business, not managing developers. Our team has extensive experience building software autonomously. We only reach out when we genuinely need your input.
How we’ll communicate:
We’ll set up a dedicated text thread with our company line. Simple, direct, no extra apps.
Important Expectation:
What you see during this phase will be rough. Features will be incomplete. Things will break. This is construction, not the finished product.

Feature Buildout & Bugs — Months 2-6
What’s happening:
Features get implemented one by one. Your software starts taking shape.
The Reality of Bugs:
As we add features, bugs will appear. This isn’t a sign of poor work—it’s how software development works.
When we build a feature, we test it against every scenario we can think of. But your business will throw situations at the software we couldn’t predict. Maybe a customer enters data in an unexpected format. These unusual situations only reveal themselves through real use.
"Every piece of software has them. Our job is to find and fix them—and that’s exactly what this phase is for."

Refinement & Monitoring — Months 6-12
Months 6-9: Refinement
New feature development slows significantly. We shift focus to stability and polish. At some point, we’ll give you the green light to onboard your team.
When someone finds a bug, send us a quick Loom video. We’ll handle fixes within 24 hours.
Months 9-12: Active Monitoring
The software is stable and in daily use. Bug reports become less frequent. We’re watching, maintaining, and handling any remaining edge cases. By month 12, your software should be battle-tested and reliable.

The Decision Point
You have two options when we reach the finish line.
Option A
We continue as your dedicated software team. Ongoing monitoring, bug fixes, updates, and improvements.
Most clients choose this path.
Option B
We deliver the complete code and documentation. You own it outright.
Warning: You become responsible for all maintenance and hosting.
